We are very excited to welcome multi-award winning director Thomas Beug to the Butter roster. Thomas has spent years directing commercials in the U.S. before returning to base himself at home, in Ireland. He has directed global campaigns for brands such as Adidas and Puma, with stars including Usain Bolt, Simone Biles, Novak Djokovic and Thierry Henry.
Thomas’ work brings together a spontaneous, documentary sensibility with an eye for beautifully composed, cinematic visuals. Nuanced storytelling is at the heart of his craft. His documentary work includes Amazon’s “This is my City”, a cool spin on your usual travel show, and the thoughtful, award winning short doc, “The Swimmer”.
Thomas’ work has won multiple awards at festivals including The One Show, Cannes Lions, The Fastnet Film Festival, Red Rock Film Festival, and DOC NYC.
