Stephen is a multi-award-winning comedy director and writer that started working in the same year that ‘Chicken Tonight’ first hit the supermarket shelves. After graduating from Central St Martins school of Art, he had the pleasure of spending many happy years working in some of London’s top advertising agencies.
He slipped seamlessly into becoming a commercials director and since then his relatable comedy chops have earned him a slew of Sharks, Pencils and Arrows. He shot the last two series of ‘Russell Howard’s Good News’ and ‘Live at the Electric’ along with a ton of other comedy work. Stephen has had the privilege of working with a host of top celebrities and comedians. But a particular highlight was being in a WhatsApp group with Michael Caine and Elton John during lockdown, when he wrote and directed a script for the NHS to encourage people to get the jab.
He’s an amazingly likeable, funny guy, with a magnificent beard who likes to hand-make puppets.
